Trinidad & Tobago & Japan 60 years — “Oideyo”

“Oideyo” is a song celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Trinidad & Tobago.

Produced and directed by Trinidadian creators Jus Now and DJ Private Ryan, it features Lyrikal (Trinidad & Tobago) and Ann G, a Japanese artist who has performed Trinidadian Soca for over 10 years.

The song carries a two-way invitation — come to Japan, and come to Trinidad & Tobago — with the hope that collaborations like this, and events like Japan Soca Weekend, will strengthen the ties between both countries.
