About Soca in Japan
Bringing the colour, music and community of Caribbean carnival to Tokyo — the largest Soca festival in all of Asia.
Soca in Japan exists to share Caribbean carnival culture with Japan and to give the Caribbean diaspora a home away from home. Every September we turn Tokyo into a multi-day celebration of Soca music, mas and community.
How it started
What began as a small gathering of Soca lovers has grown into Asia’s largest Caribbean carnival weekend, drawing artists, DJs and travellers from around the world.
