MONEY IN JAPAN
Japan is a cash society. Many places may not accept credit cards. You can exchange money in the airport or withdraw money from the ATMs in most major convenient stores. It's best to withdraw monies planned to spend on the trip upon arrival at the airport, or at the hotel (there's ATMs inside the hotel) to minimize tour interruptions.
From the Airport to the events, to sightseeing, our patrons can enjoy the luxury of a private bus jamming to the sweet sound of Soca music. Many events and sightseeing and activities are time sensitive, some even require appointments. We kindly ask that patrons be on time for the bus. Japanese culture adheres to strict time schedule, thus being on time is very important. A detailed daily schedule will be given to all patrons before and upon arrival to Japan. Patrons late for the bus may have to independently arrange transportation. As this is a group event, individuals that are late cannot interrupt activities for others. We kindly ask that patrons understand.
Patrons will be given a wristband with the address of the hotel and relevant contact information. In the event patrons need to independently commute please refer to the safety wristband. Patrons will also be given a physical and digital tour timeline pamphlet, please utilize this to plan your day accordingly.
SIJ TOUR BUS
Please keep tour bus clean. Patrons that feel ill or nauseous should notify our staff immediately. After Jouvert, please utilize clean-up facilities before returning to the tour bus. It is required that patrons bring a change of clothes. Patrons can store their clothing in the luggage compartment of the bus or the coin locker at the Jouvert venue. Vomiting on or dirtying the tour bus will result in a fine of up to $300USD
Much like many things in Japan, hotel rooms are typically small. While choosing your hotel room, please keep this in mind.
